The Chase vest, launched in 2018, is one of CamelBak most beloved and unique products. It’s a minimalist bike-specific vest that provides 1.5L of hydration and carries all your essentials for a gravel or MTB ride.
For 2024 CamelBak presents two evolutions of this favorite.
The Chase Adventure 8 is for those needing a little more stowage capacity, but still in a pared back and slim structure, while the Chase Race 4 is for mountain bikers or gravel racers needing lightweight, refined design and cargo capacity for a race day and nothing more. The Chase Adventure 8 offers 8L stowage including 2L CRUXTM reservoir. Its peculiar construction, a vest on the front and a pack on the back, provides lightweight, breathability and space for our personal belongings for a full day in the backcountry. The vest is Impact Protector ready.
The Chase Race 4 is dedicated to the racers needing a minimalistic, ultra-lightweight vest to support their performance during a race day. It offers 4L cargo capacity including a 1,5L CRUXTM reservoir. Breathable 3D Mesh harness are equipped with a zipped security pocket and overflow pockets to keep your essentials at hand. Dual adjustable sternum straps and lateral cargo compression straps will keep your gear secure and stable. Both vests sit above the jersey pockets, so that riders can always reach them with one hand. The Chase Adventure 8 and Chase Race 4 also come in a women specific version, designed with body-mapping tech to fit the ladies’ body.
Both products will hit the market in Q1 2024.
